Biography

Dalya Elhady, MD is a board-certified anesthesiologist and pain medicine physician specializing in comprehensive pain management for both common as well as complex pain syndromes. Dr. Elhady is committed to improving her patients’ quality of life and function by reducing or eliminating pain through compassionate and personalized patient care.

Dr. Elhady completed her bachelor of science degree with high distinction and honors in Biology/Biotechnology at George Mason University in Northern Virginia. She then earned her Doctor of Medicine from The George Washington University, where she also specialized in Medical Education Leadership.

After medical school, Dr. Elhady completed her residency in anesthesiology at the University of Florida where she served as Chief Resident, excelling in both clinical and leadership roles, and earning outstanding achievement awards in multiple sub-specialty disciplines. Dr. Elhady went on to receive fellowship training in pain management at the prestigious UT MD Anderson Cancer Center with focus on interventional and cancer associated pain management.

Academically, Dr. Elhady has presented at numerous regional and national conferences, receiving awards of distinction. She has also been published regarding various academic topics in pain management. She continues to stay current with the latest advancements and is dedicated to providing evidence based therapy in pain management.

Dr. Elhady utilizes a multimodal approach including non-invasive pain management techniques, physical therapy, medications, as well as advanced interventional therapies to promote functional restoration and well-being. She has advanced skills in fluoroscopic and ultrasound guided injections, neuromodulation, spinal cord stimulator implantation, intrathecal pump therapy, vertebral augmentation, in addition to various other minimally invasive procedures.
